Nutrition Communications Intern - Eat Well Global (Remote)
We’re looking for a curious and detail-oriented paid intern to support Eat Well Global’s work as a highly specialized strategy and communication firm on a mission to empower global change agents in food and nutrition. Our ideal candidate is a current or recent master’s student in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field with a strong interest in gaining real-life agency experience supporting change-agent clients around the world. The internship is virtual, but the candidate should be willing and able to participate in Zoom videoconference meetings on a regular basis. This is a paid, part-time role (~20-25 hours per week) for the fall semester with an ideal start date of September 2024.

About the Role:
As a Nutrition Communications Intern, you will . . .
Provide client service support including coordinating, scheduling, and attending meetings; note-taking; conducting research; drafting, editing, and reviewing materials; organizing client files, and maintaining project trackers
Assist with virtual and in-person event planning and activation on behalf of clients
Support with client social media content creation and strategy
Provide support on client influencer program management, including monitoring influencers’ activities and tabulating metrics
Actively participate in team meetings
Assist with other ad-hoc tasks as needed (contributing to internal initiatives, marketing, new business, impact work, social media channels, company blog, etc.)
Stay current on global nutrition-related news, trends, and policy changes
Minimum Requirements:
0-1 year of experience in marketing, communications, or PR at an agency or in-house within the food & beverage, CPG, or healthcare industries
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited master's/graduate degree program within nutrition, dietetics, sustainability, public health, or related field
Highly collaborative and able to work remotely, both independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and contribute to projects
Intellectually curious with a demonstrated interest in gaining exposure and experience in nutrition and food communication
Social media knowledge and proficiency in technology (including programs like Slack, Zoom, Powerpoint, Excel, Miro, etc.)
Skilled in research and basic data management
Demonstrates excellent communication and organization skills
Positive attitude, responsible and dependable
Commitment to our values of quality, integrity, thoughtfulness, and leadership
Availability for typical work hours on US East Coast (9 am to 5 pm EST), but some flexibility is possible
Authorized to work in the US
This position is currently only open to candidates who live and are able to work in CT, DC, IL, MA, MD, NC, NY, RI, or SC.
